One time a TET poster got obsessed with the lolspeak word "haxx" and its derivatives. He tried to hackney it into every sentence for days. It was annoying. His peers snapped. There was so much blood.

For some reason I do not seem to recall those tragic events.

I'm the opposite of popular. I tend to be a little bit of a loner, but I do have a small group of closer friends.

It is better to have a limited number of true friends than to be surrounded by a swarm of shallow hanger-ons.

Nah, the relationship is much clearer with shallow hangers on. Friends you have to treat well.

And they have to treat you well in return, or that is what I assume. Things may be different in your metropolitan area.

The Bhagavad-Gita and the Epic of Gilgamesh are both on the list, and are the two cheapest texts. I am quite looking forward to reading the Bhagavad-Gita but not the Epic of Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh is shorter. It has gods, goddesses, dragons, floods, and Gilgamesh himself has three parents. I'd lend you mine but the clay is kind of brittle these days.

But is Gilgamesh going to give me the lifelong enlightenment I've been searching for like The Bhagavad-Gita is allegedly going to give me?

Isn't the Gilgamesh epos the source material for Genesis? You are going to learn a thing or two about religious plagiarism if that happens to be the case.
