It was either that or sacrifice a good firing position for cover. Plus I was pinned from all sides and tried taking pot-shots whenever the firing stopped. And it was a little bit better than trying to take cover behind a tree covered in thorns.

NeoGAF appears to be going into a fiery deathspiral because the site owner's been accused of sexual harassment.

*sigh* It appears that I shall not have anyone to root for in the World Series. *sigh* Still, hope springs eternal.

Which surviving team do you hate the least?

I remember one of my fondest memories of sport was cheering Cameroon as they won a medal at the Olympics. I've never even seen Cameroon on the map but they were the underdog and kicked butt.

Well, I could wait until the third game and root for the underdog, it's true. And there is the theory that you should root for the team that beat your guys, so that if they win it all, you can say, "Well, sure, we lost, but nobody else beat them, either."

I do have to say that the heavily bearded baseball player has lost its novelty. Trim that bloody thing already. It's not a good look.

I want a nice cult to join but I can't dig all the financial and sexual abuse. Plus, my area doesn't really have enough people to support a cult.

I could do one of those crazy isolated cult compounds, but I don't want to stockpile weapons or brainwash children.

I want to feel like I have secret esoteric knowledge that makes me superior to others, but I don't know shit, and even when I think I understand things, that's when I'm most vulnerable to error, so I'm left with a meager array of generalized guidelines completely unsuited to absolute truth or divine revelation.

Maybe I should just buy a robe and a dainty ceremonial dagger and chant outside once a month.

Yeah it is but you kinda need to have some art skill for that, papercraft is just printing off the sheet and chopping up the parts as needed to craft what you want.

C'mon that's like the best part!
Most of the time I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or talking about.

Verisimilitude, my friend.

Make up enough bullshit that all sounds vaguely religion-y and connected to life improvement somewhere and you'll be all good. :)
