You wouldn't have heard of it. It's a variation on folk music. The genre is mainly related to the SF/fantasy/horror fandoms. Wikipedia can give you a better explanation.

Do you consider posting snippet of not safe for work material, that's cropped to the point of being safe for work, on a SFW platform, goes against the spirit( if not neccessarily letter) of rules of platform being safe for work? Not that I am going to do that here. Possibly just on my dumblr.
