You have criminals from all walks of life all gathered into one place with no self actualization or entertainment to be had. They feel lust like other people, but generally speaking- don't have the same restraint or morals as regular people living in society and are in a punitive environment where they're denied so many things.

A good portion of inmates are going to be bad behaved or evil at heart by definition. It is a given that the strong will prey on the weak. The only difference with men only prisons is that on average, men have more of an ability to physically fight back against other men. Otherwise- you see much the same outcome, the weak will get crushed or preyed on by the strong.

In male prisons in the US i've read that it used to be more common, but the gangs took over and somewhat quashed it out in that pseudo-treaty kind of way gangs tend to develop. Rape/sexual assault is off limits and would invite retaliation from all other gangs present. Unwritten rules and such.

I'm not sure if womens prisons have the same level of gang activity, if not, it could explain the prevalence of sexual assault in womens prisons going unchanged while it declined in mens prisons. (Through no help of the government, notably.)

I strongly agree with such idea, but I meant: the solution for a music festival reasonably free of rape to be held in 2018, and in 2019...not in 2068!



I mostly agree, hence why I wrote "reasonably": a festival without sexual assaults, followed by a festival with a single episode of sexual assault, followed by another festival without sexual assaults, then two sexual assaults in the next edition, then zero sexual assaults in the following edition - that would be reasonable, we're humans and I know that absolute perfction cannot be reached. I repeat: 0-1-0-2-0, something like that, not "always zero".
In Norrkoping there have been 23 reported sexual assaults, in a single edition, plus more other episodes that haven't been reported: now, that's unreasonable and unworkable.

A lot of music festivals have over 100000 people attending. 23 sexual assults in that period (assuming we're counting anything from unwanted kissing all the way up to rape) is a small number, especially in an alcohol and often drug-fuelled environment.

I'd say that's probably 99% of the problem right there, people getting drunk and doing stupid shit like groping women.

Restricting alcohol consumption at the festival and increasing security patrols on the grounds would be a far more logical approach than having a segregated music festival.

My point was the vast majority of the rapists are young Muslim men from the middle east and parts of Africa that arrived recently they are the demographic(not all of them did it but before the recent arrivals this didn't exist as a major problem) responsible for most of the rapes not anyone else but no one has the guts to point it out or are brutally supressed by the Orwellian leftist establishment. Also I agree with attacking drugs it has to be outlawed and destroyed for the good of every society.
