I identify as black, Afro-Caribbean. However, my paternal grandmother is of Amerindian descent and my maternal great-grandfather is Chinese. Also, the poll results so far are funny... two black persons.

I mean... I am Chinese and definitely living in a Chinese-majority nation (Singapore), so... there you go.

Ancestry's a mystery beyond being born to both a Cantonese parent and a Hokkien parent. Parents of my grandparents could've/likely migrated from China to Singapore, that's about as much as I know.

I also act pretty 'white'/sound the part at least.

EDIT: Perhaps an "other" option would be helpful, though then again I'm guessing this is more meant to be for American citizens/migrants, neither of which I am.

I think I'm white, but I can never be too sure.

Depends on who you ask, apparently. Sephardim and Mizrahim are definitely ethnically Jewish, but there's a tossup on whether Ashkenazim are white or not.

Hmm I am Ashkenazi, but I can trace my ancestors back a couple of hundred years and as far as I can tell all my ancestors have been Ashkenazi of some sort (My family is stereotypically from Poland, Austria and Russia). Given that my mom is a Levi, at least on that side I am ethnically Jewish. My dad meanwhile is Yisrael.

Pakistani American (Now Canadian)

I like to drop the 'Pakistani' Part sometimes, due to all the bullshit happening there.

I usually go for simply "American" as I'm genetically French, Finnish, Polish, and Scottish. I am however culturally none of these things so I tend to keep them out of my ethnicity because it's diluted to a point of irrelevancy.

I'd consider Persians to be white.

That's the thing about "white" it's way to broad of a term. Because you have several Hispanics who say they are white and then you have people who have said the the Irish were not white.
