Its hardly even justification, its was a necessity. The Indians were ignorant savages that lived as slaves to their princes. The British came and gave them technology, education, democracy. A system of government, laws, and defense that the Indians still use today.

If anything I think the Indian nation owes Britain a thank you for all they did and an apology for being so childishly restless while Britain was bestowing their gifts.
