I've been there once or twice - usually on my way to Tucson to tell you the truth. Monsoon season is always a blessing at first cause you're like "fuck yeah some rain."

Then it stays 105-115F and humid and you want to strangle yourself.

Ahh the memories, it always got so bad, but it was cool with the haboobs and dust devils. But yeah fuck monsoon season, oh and the snowbirds annoying bastards were always on the roads.

I've been in three fender benders, each time was because of a snowbird not knowing how parking lots work.

Thank god I'm in Flagstaff now.

I live in New York after moving from Green Bay, before Green Bay was Arizona. So basically now on the other side and now one with the snowbirds. But it was still fucking annoying, having to deal with them back then.

Iowa. Because I live here. We also produce food the whole US & world, & without us, food prices would certainly go up.
We also have the USDA vet labs so we lead in animal medicine. Winters are great, small towns are great. & by small town >2000 people.

Washington is a prime target. You have Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where the Army has several Stryker battalions for light armor, a Ranger battalion, special forces, and the Air Force has the Mobility Airlift Command and the Western Air Defense Command headquartered there. Furthermore you have at least two carriers claiming the Bremerton portion of Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor as their home port, and half of America's nuclear submarine force at the Bangor portion as well as a ton of Trident missile facilities. This is only augmented by Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Air Station Everett, as well as a massive aeronautical industry.

Washington is a HUGE target.

It's also on the side of the country that is closest to North Korea. If they're having issues with the range of their missiles, Washington is more reachable than, say, Georgia.

I don't think China has that issue with the range of their missiles, but that doesn't matter because they are MUCH less likely to attack us in the first place. China isn't anywhere near the same level of unhinged that NK is.

As much as I love South Carolina and living there, I'd have to say Ohio, partially due to the fact that my dad's side of the family is from there. Sorta. You could make a case for them being from West Virginia, and my dad identifies more with Kentucky (where he also spent part of his childhood) than Ohio.

Probably just going to be in the city of Indianapolis exclusively so cant hop over to Ohio. Though i will have to stop in Chicago on my way there due to the flights, i probably wont leave the airport in that time but technically ill have seen part of Illinois as well.

Your five second Chicago tour guide: "IF you look out the window to the left, you can see two homeless people fighting over a turkey sandwich, on the right you can see a guy getting shot for going down the wrong street. And that concludes your tour, IMA NEED YO WALLET MO FUCKA!"

Thats basically Chicago in a nutshell. Atleast all but the touristy rich parts.

California: because of Hollywood
Arizona: because of hot weather
New York: because of my ancestors lived there
Illinois: because of Springfield ("The simpsons")
Massachussets: because of Boston, my favourite city in the USA.
