True, but he's an intelligent, arrogant asshole. His problem is that he's utilizing assholery to convey an important message to the Liberals, (at least some of them,) but turns them off with said assholery. Some of these Liberals do not see the irony when they call those who oppose basic science and Global Warming as "the Deplorables".

We can debate whether or not Global Warming is man-made, or not, but guys, it's happening. And NASA has quite a few charts proving that it's man-made. NASA. They sort of know their stuff.

If the Weinstein company was turning out blockbusters(last film to clear 100 million was I think 4 or so years ago); would his actions have come to light?

Oh I agree, I'm not a fan either. He's just interesting, sometimes. As for Weinstein - dude, "no" means "no". The phrase "No, I don't want to" means "leave me the fuck alone you creep!" And I don't get how a hot girl walking you to your hotel room, and then going to the lobby, is embarrassing. Am I missing something?

Bill O'Reiley is also a fasting genius, but yes, he's a pompous and arrogant man. My grandfather adored him (although he admitted the same about as me and you did). You have to look past those character flaws to watch his show.

One thing I always respected is that he brought actual members of the opposition onto his show. He didn't bring in people that said they were leftist but essentially were there for show. He actually brought in people that fundamentally disagreed with him to yell at. Fox News is one of the few stations that actually haul in legitimate members of the opposition (and not just the stupid ones) to yell at. When I hear Fox say they are "fair and balanced", I don't think that Fox means that they are objective or neutral.
I think it means that they actually present both sides- by actually inviting the opposition to their shows -before shredding the side they don't like to bits.

That said, the crap O'Reiley is accused of that has evidence of existing is literally that he loudly proclaimed that a black woman was "hot chocolate". It greatly embarassed her and she declared it to be "sexual harassment". Like Trump, O'Reiley has never laid a hand on a woman without their permission. Unlike Trump, there is evidence that O'Reiley said that.

Harvey Weinstein has more than just he-said-she-said, and I think there's a criminal investigation in the works. For all the bluster, there might actually be a case of rape in the Weinstein case. God forbid that be so.

Bill O'Reilly is not a genius. He thinks he is, but I don't think a genius would do what he's done, particularly considering the career he ruined by being a dirty old man. Not even including some of the horrible stuff he's accused of, but remains unproven.

Weinstein's way worse though. I hope that asshole gets the book thrown at him if he's found guilty. The audio tape I heard is rather damning, but if he is somehow innocent then I hope that comes to light. I doubt he's innocent greatly, though.

Obviously there is some level of warming, and we have some impact, but what proof is there for us having 50%, let alone 100% of the cause of it, when hundreds of factors are still not even fully understood. What is understood is that CO2, while being a greenhouse gas, is nowhere near the main factor.

It's abuse. Now comes the true hunt. Those that looked the other way (brother?) do they get a pass?
