It's the West, actually, particularly in the north-the Dakotas, Wyoming-that have been, proportionately, the greatest contributors to driving the economy.

California and New York are big states, having the biggest economies by default (alongside Florida and Texas), but are not the biggest economic drivers in terms of growth (often doing worse than, in particular, Texas)

Um because it is. NY, CA, and the south are all economic powerhouses. The US has more than two ya know. Most of your movies are made in the South, just about every car manufactured in the US is made in the south, the same with just about every aircraft, several foreign and native corporations have their North American and main headquarters in the south.

It's highly evident that you don't know what you are talking about, per the usual

Maybe you could have posted your baseless message without so many stupid emojis? It makes it even more baseless than it already is, and you literally called the United States a "country that is basically a larger version of North Korea" in this same thread. Who is going to take you seriously?

I don't know if I can get my point to you, since out of all people, it's Keshiland that I am talking to.

Yes the U.S. is not a developing country

Here's why:

Out of control gun laws
A maniac elected through Russian Interference that people deny
Airport security
A inflating currency
Use of Imperial System
Lack of Eco friendly energy as primary energy source
High carbon footprint
A constitution written in a time people were genocides and enslaved, thus being outdated
A handful of people own half the countries wealth
Corporations run free of government interference, meaning they can do whatever
Police brutality
Hate free speech (ironic)
The list goes on

All these people claiming it's developed are probably trump tards, bigots, or nationalist

That's why all the foreign auto manufacturers set up plants there and not in the South, right?

...That was more wide-left than Nick Folk’s missed 31-yard kick against New England on Sunday. Wow.

You get so defensive the moment minorities are brought in, who said that these minorities are evil? Yes, many inner cities are filled with poor minorities, due to the plenitude of cheap housing. However, more minority people also live in poor suburbs right outside the cities. Projects and such. And finally, where did you get stuff about votes? Looks like you’re not responding to the other poster, and more like an enemy you created.

New York puts out 7.9 per capita.

Even the big cities in the U.S. can beat European capitals.

So arrest people for words, rather than actions, is what you're saying.

Black Lives Matter activists chanting against police are going to be the first people jailed under that kind of system.

Nearly every point on your list is not only false, but even if true would not make the U.S. not a developed country.

The south is a big contributor to national GDP. Texas accounts for 8.76%, Florida accounts for 5.02%, Georgia accounts for 2.85%, North Carolina accounts for 2.81%, etc etc. The south definitely does not drain economic power, it contributes, a lot.

I am not even from the United States, and I seem to know more about it than you do.

Yup. It's probably extremely possible that one of the TV shows or movies they like wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the south. Georgia alone is responsible for 30% of all movies and TV shows made in the US, and that number is going to grow.
