Reminds of that one time the NYPD and a suspect got into a shootout, and like five bystanders where shot.

And most are non-violent. More still haven't killed anyone, and have no desire to, nor any plans to.

See, we could actually talk about statistics if the NRA hadn't spent the last several decades blocking all attempts to create a federal database on firearm violence.

I don't know who you are talking to or where they live but even when in the big cities have I ever felt like I was going to die.

Now if they lived in the deep cities or the wilderness I could understand it, but carrying as firearm doesn't mean they live in fear.
