I don't really have a problem with polygamous marriage, in theory. So long as it's not just men or just women who get multiple spouses, and there's some way to sort out the legal mess if property disputes occur.

Also the usual thing of everyone involved having to be consenting adults.

I think it can work if its multiple wives, but not if its multiple husbands. Mostly when it comes to kids, You know whose is whose if there is 1 husband but if there are multiple then you don't and if something was to happen you would be screwed.
