Found it via the Commitee to Investigate Russia.

I've always thought that Morgan Freeman was a great actor. That he had integrity. He IS a great man as well and it shows.

This is not movie script. This is a reality we live in now. Morgan Freeman is not acting. He is talking to us. He tells the truth.

I agree completely. Why should we try to be diplomatic with the nation that just attacked us? So we're supposed to just let them keep putting puppets in charge over here? This was not some isolated incident, these attacks will only escalate from here. So we have to retaliate. We either fight back or accept being a Russian client state. Join a Good Fight.

But sharing awareness about what really happened last year and demanding justice is only one aspect of the Good Fight. So I ask fellow NS members – what can we do besides it? How else can we, the people, retaliate?

Ahh yes - those who crave fame and/or are mentally insane, salute you. Has there been any actual evidence of Russian hacking? Any non-circumstancial evidence? Any evidence that's different from the claim "Iraq had WMDs?" This is essentially "Iraq has WMDs 2.0" since all evidence is based on "trust us, we say so!" Mr. Freeman, are you insane?

It's a hard question because as I said at the start, I think we invented God. So if I believe in God, and I do, it's because I think I'm God.

That's his actual quote. Oh damn, "God" has just declared war on Putin, I guess he better be shaking...

I won't dwell on the fact that Rob Reiner is a pathetic has been, looking for fame, and simply point out that the DNC's tune changed rapidly after Clinton lost. A scapegoat was needed - enter Russia. Before the loss, Clinton called on Trump to accept the election results; if the election was rigged by the Russians, why would she do so? Is Hillary Clinton a Russian Spy? Before the loss the Democrats, (who by the way had control of the White House,) were getting ready to celebrate. Were they celebrating Russia's election rigging? Are all Democrats - Russian spies? Did Obama allow the Russians to rig the election of the most powerful country in the World on his watch? If he did - what does that say about his ability to lead after the failure of Arab Spring and Fast & Furious?

Of course not, and that's because the DNC lost the factory white vote in the Rust Belt. That's why they lost. Russia doesn't have the power to influence US elections in a major way. Putin wishes he did, but he doesn't. If the Russians were actually rigging the elections, or attempting to do so, why would Putin favor Trump? Most Americans were anti-Putin at the time, so if Putin was to promote a candidate, wouldn't supporting his opponent be a smarter move? Remember, if he's smart enough to rig the US election, he would've known that. And where's the actual proof? If there was any - it would've been out by now.

So the DNC can either pretend that it was the Russians, and ignore the rust belt, and continue to have Republicans in the White House, or the DNC can get its act together, and realize that the West Wing, Madam Secretary, and all those other shows are fiction; they're not real. And a rogue dictator isn't going to be fooled by looking at Clinton's legs. Yes, that actually happened on Madam Secretary, welcome to Hollywood. Oh, and Mr. Freeman, if you are so powerful as you pretend to be, why did you allow Trump to get elected? Do you really hate America that much, Mr. Freeman? He says it's not a movie script, but it sure reads like one! Then again, WB has to prove that ghosts are real or potentially fork over hundreds of millions of dollars - so Freeman's scripted rant doesn't particularly surprise me:

http://www.businessinsider.com/conjurin ... wan-2017-4

The studio and filmmakers behind the "Conjuring" franchise are being sued by an author seeking $900 million. The three films in the franchise grossed $886 million at the global box office, and two more films are on the way... What makes the suit more interesting than your standard Hollywood contract dispute is the movie studio's claim that the "Conjuring" movies weren't based on Brittle's book, and that they are based on "historical facts." Brittle says that can't be possible because he and other skeptics posit that the Warrens' case files about paranormal and supernatural activity are fabricated

This post is bad, and you should feel bad for posting it. Why, why would any idiot think this? Russia isn't a threat to America anymore, and they didn't hack the election. All they did was expose evidence to the American people, they didn't rig the vote.

Exactly. Change the system to avoid major dominance by two parties, and you'd have decent candidates.

Two issues there. First, all countries promote propaganda, so punishing a country for that would make the US look rather idiotic. Second, regarding the hacking, the solution should be this: prove that Moscow did it, and hack the Kremlin back. I hack you, you hack back. This is how it should work.

Way to twist my words.

Everyone has bias. My bias is that even Russia deserves to be free. Naturally, no one with the connection to the present Regime can assure that. So they must be depreived of their political rights, which they'd use to harm the nascent democracy anyway.

It's a bit hard not to laugh at Hillary Clinton who wrote a book titled "What Happened?" which reads more like "waaa, I didn't break the cookie jar!"

In 1928 the Democrats were fucked. Instead of going "waaa, I didn't break the cookie jar!" they took a good look at their own party, realized their mistakes, and elected one of the most prosperous administrations to in Modern US History. Of course then came Truman... but that's besides the point.

The Democrats are in the same boat today. I don't care much for the DNC, but I don't want to see outright slaughter in 2018 and 2020, which is where the blame game is headed. Ostro provided a poll saying that 64% are sick and tired of this nonsense: http://thehill.com/homenews/administrat ... sia-probes

There's another poll that 58% of Americans want Government Funded Healthcare, an area where Republicans failed and Democrats can pounce. Enough of this "waaa, we lost the election!" crap. If the DNC doesn't get over itself, then you're looking at 8 years of Trump, not 4. And then perhaps 8 years of Pence. And I'm looking at elections that are just slaughterhouses. So the DNC should get the fuck over themselves before that happens. Look at Trump right now. Imagine if he thinks he has a mandate/womandate.

Hillary's book shouldn't have been "What Happened?" to which Trump can respond "I Happened" and Republicans can laugh. Hillary's book should be on how to fix healthcare. This bitching, whining, moaning, Russia probes, aren't getting you guys anywhere. And slaughterhouse elections aren't going to get guys like me anywhere either. So DNC should cut the crap, and stop looking like losers, because that's the one thing that American Voters really don't like - losers.

I supported Bernie. He lost. I accepted that. I'm not telling him to run in 2020. Clinton didn't win either, and no matter how many "RUSSIA HURR DURR" isms are said, that's not going to change. Want the vote? Get Healthcare going. This time without taking Blue Dog "concerns" into account.

Do you not know how presidential elections in the US work? Let me educate you. There are states called Swing States, where one can remotely argue that's the case. And then there's the rest of America. Where a vote for Johnson is a vote for Johnson, and nothing more. California isn't a Swing State. So in California, voting for Johnson, is, amazingly enough, just voting for Johnson. It's not voting for Trump. Whether I vote for Johnson or Clinton, in California - Trump gets the same benefit - zilch. Furthermore, the pro-Clinton voters set up voter exchanges, where the Johnson voters in the Swing States would vote for Clinton, and the Clintonites, in states like California, would vote for Johnson. If what you're saying is even remotely true, why would the pro-Clinton voters do that?

But none of them want to tell Trump to get over Hillary.

She's the only losing candidate in history to be treated by both sides worse than actual traitors to the country. Demands to accept sole blame, demands to shut the fuck up, demands to flagellate herself like a Filipino Catholic... I'm surprised nobody demanded she kill herself as repentance.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Ugh no. Working with the Reds is treason

Assad is also a Red as well, but thankfully Trump has seen common sense and is now pushing for his overthrow, like all decent people should.

After bawling about how Obama and Clinton wanted to overthrow Assad to little shock.

Picture is also way too slim.

While it is without doubt that Russia (and China) are, indeed, terror sponsoring states the same could not be said about the US. Personally, I'd rather die under a US Hegemony than a Russian or Chinese one, any day of the week. And I know that most people will agree with me.

How do you call an appeaser who was elected thanks to the foreign intervention?

Threlizdun wrote:The idea that we are at war with Russia is ludicrous saber rattling. We need to focus on the far more pressing threats of climate change, economic inequality, systemic racism, police militarization, and nuclear proliferation, not trying to create a second Cold War.

Well the Russian Federation is trying to kill us today, so MAYBE lets adjust our defense budget and foreign policy to match?

Sigh... the problem is that Russia has become a nice way to explain away every fuck up the Democratic party made in 2016 as a way to hide from their own faults... which shows they lack self awareness and are heading in the direction of the Republican party... that isn't good.

I never said to start a nuclear war, just not to let Russia destabilize the US, destroy democratic institutions, and not let them become the new world policeman.

If anything, the US should relax and search for other things to do, maybe in the Pacific. We (in the sense of the community that is the EU) have much less excuses to be lax on the matter. Countries are getting invaded a few klicks east of us.

No. Russia intervened in other elections as well. Leaving our allies out in the cold in the face of Russian aggression is unacceptable.
