Yes.

It is true that I can't trust myself with a firearm.

But that's why I hold everyone else to the same standard. Also, after a bloody stunt like Los Vegas, how can anyone in good conscience still support gun rights?

So, because of your hangups, and because of a VAST minority of incidents compared to legal uses, I should be punished with the loss of several thousands of dollars of equipment?

Fuck that shit. The shooting in Las Vegas is a tragedy, but I didn't commit it. When/if we ever figure out why this guy did this, we can work towards the correct response to solve it. Punishing people like me isn't the answer, IMO.
Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

Any accident you can walk away from is one I can laugh at.

If a parent gives a gun to a kid, and the kid purposefully uses it to kill someone at the very least that parent should be hit with accessory to murder in my book. If it is an accident than the parent should definitely be under threat of negligent homicide. The child could still be charged/have the appropriate action taken based on age, but the simple fact is, to me, the parent is responsible for the gun.

For murder? Perhaps not, but to prison certainly if the child murders with a gun they were given by the parent.

If it is accidental, then it would be tried as if the parent had been the one committing the accident.

Why are people's 1st reaction never that its gunfire. Like every single time people think its fireworks or some other loud noise. My 1st reaction whenever I hear anything loud is that its gunfire until I see otherwise. I just don't get it.

Because most of the time for most people, it isn't gunfire. Cars backfiring, fire works or other things tend to be the cause. In the case of the LV shooting, they were also at a place where fireworks would not be unusual and automatic gunfire would be.

Trump would probably be willing to work with the Democrats on gun control, but it's unlikely anything will happen presently.
A nation founded in the early 1800s by Federalist immigrants from the United States. Has since developed an identity of its own and imperial ambitions. Now a neoliberal imperial power that justifies its aggression by putting it the name of tolerance and social justice.

Well because most of the time it is fireworks perhaps? Also the report has a different sound as the sound bounces off of building vs a wide open setting.

That's one of the weirdest things about this. He'd probably be willing to pass gun control laws up to a point if someone could convince him 'Obama tried and failed to do this, he just wasn't President enough'.

It's Trump though so he'd probably fuck it up anyway.

Let's put it this way.

You see a light streaking across the sky that appears to be a shooting star. Is your first thought:

A) A meteor has entered earth's atmosphere
B) A satellite's orbit has decayed and it's in reentry
C) A man made spacecraft is reentering the atmosphere
D) Aliens have finally decided to invade and we're all about to die

New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

It kind of makes sense to ban something which only exists to skirt around another law via technicality.

because its logical, however its the only safe thing to do is to always assume that any loud pop us a gunshot unless you have visual evidence otherwise, that could save people lives, I would rather start running every time a fire work goes off thinking someone is shooting then stand still thinking its a fire work when someone is shooting.
