Or you could not try doing something that you will never achieve, and do something that is more realistic that does make a practical difference, such as volunteer work. I can tell you from personal experience that volunteer work gives you a real sense of achievement and sense of place in the world, unlike chasing a dream that will never come to fruition.

Or doing any type of hard labor it releases endorphins and thus makes you happy.

You see you are like a feminist/evangelical Christian they bait you in with stuff like "Do you like equality well of course you are a feminist." Besides I think I can safely assume that you want to get rid of the EC for your own gain not the progressing of the republic as a whole.

Of course its for progress as a whole. If its 1 man 1 vote then we will no longer be forced to compromise with regressives anymore.

Until the "regressives" (and you're hardly the paragon of progress) come out and vote.

What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? Don't worry, Keshiland has already suggested sending all the gun owners to Alaska, turning it into a giant ghetto.

That is not a fair comparison since with just 6 they would out do the US due to the tiny population.

Then let's compare it to a state like Indiana, you know, the one you blame for all of Chicago's problems? Indiana has never had an active-shooter mass-shooting incident. It has 6.6 million people, Norway has 5.3 million. Fair enough comparison?

Think we should all start adopting Indiana's laws to help stop mass shootings?

That sounds a whole lot like what the Nazis did with jews. So..not only do we have Stasis but now we got the Einsatzgruppen too. Great.

So, Keshiland, you're in a luck, because I happened to need something soporific and had a burning desire to prove you terribly wrong, I can thus give you the mass shooting death rates for every U.S. state, and Norway, over the last thirty-five years, in people per million.

Wyoming, .6 million: 0.00
Vermont, .6 million: 0.00
Alaska, .7 million: 0.00
North Dakota, .8 million: 0.00
South Dakota, .9 million: 0.00
Delaware, 1 million: 0.00
Montana, 1 million: 0.00
Rhode Island, 1 million: 0.00
Maine, 1.3 million: 0.00
New Hampshire, 1.3 million: 0.00
Hawaii, 1.4 million: 3.57
Idaho, 1.7 million: 0.00
West Virginia, 1.8 million: 0
Nebraska, 1.9 million: 4.21
New Mexico, 2 million: 0.00
Kansas, 2.9 million: 1.03
Nevada, 2.9 million: 21.38
Arkansas, 3 million: 1.67
Mississippi, 3 million: 0.00
Utah, 3 million: 1.67
Iowa, 3.1 million: 1.61
Connecticut, 3.6 million: 10.83
Oklahoma, 3.9 million: 3.56
Oregon, 4 million: 3.25
Kentucky, 4.4 million: 2.95
Louisiana, 4.7 million: 0.64
Alabama, 4.9 million: 0.00
South Carolina, 5 million: 2.60
Norway, 5.3 million: 12.83
Minnesota, 5.5 million: 2.73
Colorado, 5.5 million: 6.91
Wisconsin, 5.8 million: 3.79
Maryland, 6 million: 0.50
Missouri, 6 million: 1.00
Indiana, 6.6 million: 0.00
Tennessee, 6.6 million: 0.76
Massachusetts, 6.8 million: 1.03
Arizona, 6.9 million: 0.87
Washington, 7.3 million: 4.38
Virginia, 8.4 million: 3.81
New Jersey, 8.9 million: 0.00
Michigan, 9.9 million: 1.61
North Carolina, 10.1 million: 1.19
Georgia, 10.3 million: 1.55
Ohio, 11.6 million: 0.60
Pennsylvania, 12.8 million: 0.63
Illinois, 12.8 million: .70
New York, 19.7 million: 1.37
Florida, 20.6 million: 4.67
Texas, 27.8 million: 3.17
California, 39.3 million: 2.75

Oh, and this is being nicer than your Politifact numbers. Make it the last fifteen years? U.S. turns out looking even better.

So of the fifty states in this country, exactly one of them has a higher rate of death from mass shootings than Norway does, Nevada.

And even if you want to go to the total number of mass shooting fatalities? It takes until the three most populous states in the country, Florida, Texas, and California, about 4, 5, and 7 times the population of Norway, to pass up Norway's body count.

So of the fifty states in the country, twenty-two of which alone have a higher population that Norway, only three have higher gross fatalities, and none of them have even half their fatality rate.

Over a third of the states, seventeen, have zero mass shooting fatalities. A Constitution-amending majority of states (because that makes it all the sweeter with your repeal-Second Amendment insanity) have less than one-quarter of Norway's mass shooting rate.

Chew on that for a little bit before the next gun-grabbing proposal, will you?

If Keshi were to ever come to power, I would do the following:
  1. Move to Grand Isle, Louisiana.
  2. Build a house there using strong building materials to withstand a hurricane.
  3. Stockpile guns and ammunition.
  4. Invite my family and friends to live with me there.
  5. Blow up LA1, the only highway/road that goes to that island.
  6. Form "la République Fédérée de Grand Isle"
  7. Defend the land against an unwarranted assault from the north.
