Gun owners don't necessarily all vote Republican. Legal gun owners heavily do. And they're also the kind that tend to be more the solution than a problem.

Concealed-carry permit owners are more law-abiding, statistically, than police, let alone the far more criminal general populace.

Yep, I can think of one, but he would have been shot dead before he had a chance. In fact we in the neighborhood would probably end up fighting each other on who was going to do him in.
