I mean, I see where the idea comes from since that's my suggestion for closing the prison at Gitmo (but not the naval base) but for American Citizens? that's going too far. wayyy too far.

How about this: You can go to New England and break off and create your own country with all these laws and california can break of and become the Soviets and the rest of us can just live in free america in peace. And then I can go to Texas, we declare independence, and I build a true American paradise.

Let's not and just say we did. California and New England stay. Keshi on the other hand gets half of the Johnson Atoll.

I'll still build my Texan Paradise then.

Holy hell. At this point they should just give Keshi a custom "Derailler of Threads" badge (maybe a locomotive just after hitting the pebble, tilted a bit and in mid-air?) and be done with it.
Free all markets!
(Capitalism is not a free market. Capitalism is when the state intervenes in favor of a particular player. Where capitalism reigns, the people are barely more free than they are under communism. Only the degree of self-righteousness and self-deception changes.)

No, because they would all end up starving to death in a prison camp, just like most political prisoners, which they are.

Also, this whole idea sounds like the ghettos that the Nazis gave the Jews, or the reservations of the US and Canada and South Africa. Are you pull a fast one here Kesh?

You realise that they aren't overly difficult to make, right? In fact, you can make most of the parts on a microCNC milling machine. In fact, between that, a 3d printer and a few simple off the shelf components, you could just keep making them in your bedroom.

I see a military coup in your future. I can just picture it, it's January 22nd and the military has taken over congress, while the White House with you in it has been surrounded with troops, tanks, and attack helicopters. The military also forms the Committee for National Restoration.

January 23rd: Half of Congress has resigned on orders from the Committee for National Restoration. Several cabinet members have been arrested on charges of treason and sedition. The military has demanded that the president resign or else.

January 24th: The president has refused to resign. The military give the president until tomorrow to resign or he will be forcibly removed and arrested for treason.

January 25th: President Keshi has resigned. The acting deputy Secretary of State will be sworn in as president shortly.

Add to it as you wish

Can we stop pretending that Keshi cares about human lives? His ridiculous ideas for governance would cost more lives than are lost every year (including suicides) due to firearms.

Back to the subject of gun control, if you want universal background checks, you'd probably get my support IF you allow non-FFL holders to access NICS (assuming anti-gun politicians don't try to slip something odious into the bill). AWBs and magazine capacity restrictions I can't support. I WOULD like to see the constant updating the reporting and the accuracy of NICS. I'd also love to see the Hughes amendment to FOPA repealed.
Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

Any accident you can walk away from is one I can laugh at.

I would not even have that big of a problem with gun owners if they would stop voting for these regressive filth politicians that make up the 115th Congress that clearly won't do anything for the people but "they won't ban guns and that's the only important freedom"
