Key phrase of the night seems to be "I agree with Nick".

Cameron's about to burst out into a Whitney Houston song.

Aye, true.

Yep, but, the moment a Tory mentions cutting the NHS budget, I'm sure Mandelson orgasms.

What?

I turned off after the presenter started imploring me to stick with ITV.

Good thing too, Sky News seems to have the analisis going.

Well that was certainly entertaining, my opinion has not really changed from "Not Cameron". In fact, it's even enforced it.

Brown immediately went to shake hands with the audience, Clegg and Cameron remained on stage looking lost for a bit.

After they shook hands with each other, they all tried to leave out orderly or something but then suddenly Brown decided to go and shake everyone's hand in the audience and the other two just stood there looking very bemused and confused and BORIH:OSHB - it's not funny when you explain it, you have to see it!

I turned off after the presenter started imploring me to stick with ITV.

Yar but apparently ITV will have the first results of the official opinion polls.

According to the Yougov polls on Sky News, Nick Clegg won the debate.

Though at the same time it says that Cameron has a larger percentage. I presume that's of the wider vote rather than the debate.

No surprise. I wonder if that has any reflection at all on actual voting outcomes.

When Brown sarcasticly commented on the Tory's anti-Brown posters I almost thought Cameron would counter that with the Ashes to Ashes ones.

Oooo, real time approval of graphs from undecided voters in a marginal constituency! Looks like they massively like what Cameron had to say on immigration, but not Brown.

edit: Nick Clegg won for them, still waiting for the official poll.

Clegg wins on the polls outright! However they claim the poll is 'weighted', not sure exactly what that means in this context.

I'd think the Trident issue played well to Clegg's advantage.

Haha. The Telegraph is claiming that instant polling 'shows no clear verdict' on who won. I'll take that to mean that Cameron's popularity is in the toilet right about now.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

That's something that puts me off him though, the Trident system isn't going away any time soon, he shouldn't have kept labouring that point.

Nah Brown seems to have come out worse on the polls.

It was a difficult decision: See the Leader's debate on the BBC, or watch Michael Bay's The Rock on Sky Movies.

I think I made the right decision.

What kind of stupid name is Goodspeed, anyway?

They've changed their mind now anyway. Apparently Clegg 'may' emerge as a victor.
