The polls are one thing, but the map is another. Remember, the results so far have been mostly Scotland, north england and the south west. It'll be interesting to see what mainland England does.

Incidentally, since South Belfast actually did go to the SDLP after all (thereby undermining my source earlier), and the Alliance are cross-community Belfast is now technically a Nationalist city! How surreal is that!

Alistair Darling back in, with a 3% swing towards him, pretty typical for Scotland right now.

The Tory line of "Britain has rejected Labour" is really starting to do my nut in...

Labour back to a 6 seat lead.

DUP are Northern Irish, pro-United Kingdom rather than Ireland, conservative-ish.

SNP are centre-left favouring independence for Scotland.

Plaid Cymru are proper left favouring independence for Wales.

etc.

Nationalist Parties only win certain seats due to contempt against the major parties, and they'd rather see someone they know who will fight for them (I/E SNP will try the best for Scotland) as opposed to a Tory who will fight for what the leader wants.

DUP is the larger of the unionist (i.e. protestant) parties in Northern Ireland

It annoys me that the conservatives are saying 'lul, labour r lusers! We must b victors!', at least in a slightly more eloquent way.

I also heard that the Cons plan to cut the number of MPs by 10% and rig the election boundaries (well, they did that last time but it still didn't beat the Labour landslide), anyone heard anything else on that?

Okay that makes sense now where would the Liberal Democrat be in relation to United States politics? They actually seem sort of Quasi-Libertarian if Wikipedia is to be believed.

Okay, 206 seats and Labour still has a narrow lead. However, they're running out of their key areas, from now on we'll be seeing the Tories A; zoom ahead and B; really start nabbing them from Labour. Lib Dems, I'm thinking not much doing.

I'm really wondering what'll happen in Newton Abbot - Thats me - With a expenses hit Lib Dem MP and a irritatingly well supported and financed Tory bloc.
