So basically, it is like any other plant almost. Half of it like roots and leaves (i don't know about leaves) may be poisonous to eat. While the stalk like bark, if eaten. I do hope both make your rear burn in regret for eating something not in our diet. Course, humans broke natural diet, after we made fast food and etc.
