Why should the world care about America's 9/11?

It is. I don't care about America being attacked in response to their own actions. This could've been preventable but no, they had to invade little countries. It's like the bully beating up a kid in the playground and then being hit once and crying about it.

Yes, we should care more about the civilians that the US have killed since then.

Screw it, we Americans like playing hero. We saved the allies butts and World War II, and we beat the central powers in World War I heroically saving France and England. In war we never even started! Vietnam? Save those rebels (and fail miserably)! Korea? Let's place a border between them we don't have to finish the war, but act like we did. Afghanistan? Terrorist attacks!

About the Original Post: I wouldn't call this imperialism more like accidentally giving charity to a certain group of Muslims which made all the groups of Muslims go all like, "americas interfering!" Then Muslims get mad and Americans shrug them off, then America protects Israel like a mother's child. The plane crashes then americas all like, "what the heck." And then America is officially the number one hated country in Arabia.

Ramming an aircraft into a skyscraper full of non-military, non-political, and non-governmental personnel is not going to make the country with the one of largest economies on Earth, and the most powerful military on Earth, where relative safety has increased the prospective value of each local life in the eyes of local onlookers, decide to back down and go "...okay."

It's going to spin up into a full-on war. This should be obvious. With no 9/11, there is no Iraq War. The political will for it would not exist.

Now, of course people will say "but should he just sit there and take it?" But there are forms of terrorism, which I am not going to outline here, that would have been far more effective, assuming the actual goal was to get the US to quit meddling.
