Not de-facto.

Yes. Read the Korean Constitution. Section 5
Sovaal wrote:Something tells me that you wouldn't accept me using the US constitution as evidence that the US is a free country, so why should I accept the Nork one as evidence that they are actually free

It isn't. They have it but they dont follow it!

You do know what de facto means right?

Why does this matter anyways? All it means is that Shia followers and North Korea won't get along... thus won't really effect the status quo.

Maybe so, yet they follow it more closely then North Korea does. So, any other reason for as to why North Korea is freer then America or are you going to dodge the question?

Edit: And you being on the far end of the left doesn't make verybody else a rightist.

Yes it does. It makes them right-wing to me. Even if they're not right-wing, they're centre-left, which is pretty much the same thing.

Shows how far the Cold War era has injured this world...

No. You're just an extremist.

This is honestly nothing more then just taking his hatred of the US to far.

Only from the perspective of the very far-left does the center-left approximate to right-wing.
The perspectives of the extremes are never accurate representations of political reality.

Hahahaha. No the center-left is not the right wing. This is like the USSR accusing the SFR Yugoslavia of being fascist

Eh, I was talking bout his political opinions, but yes he does seem to hate America with a burning passion. What did we ever do to him?

Kennlind is not the topic of this thread.

OK let's just go back to the Topic, ignoring whether or not DPRK has human rights or not!

Nope. All of you are. 20 odd of you attack me (many times not even my argument, me as a person), and I defend myself.

Not sure you even read the topic then

So then, out of curiosity, do you have a specific example to back up these outrageous claims that America is less free? Ever see American news media criticize Trump? Ever see any Americans criticize Trump? The fact I can say "Trump is a moron" and not be shot or put in a labor camp pretty much rests the case.

Not much human rights effort in that nation.

So is there a way to blacklist Kennlind from the discussion or does freedom of speech mean he can drag the thread as far away from the topic as he wants; because I would really like to get back to discussing the Iranuan government's response.

If I had to take a shot at it maybe NK could not respond for one it's Iran it's on the other side of the world but they will probably try cracking down on Muslims a lot especially shia.

I think North Korea's actions are easy to predict, but what I'd like to know is what you think the Supreme Leader of Iran would do since one of his people, a fellow Muslim, is being detained (and later murdered) by a trade partner.

How fruitful is Iran's relationship with North Korea? That's about how much Iran (or anyone for that matter) would be willing to see past any transgressions.

I'm not sure, how much does Iran value research into nuclear weaponry?

North Korea gets along well with Iran; they have cut some deals. So, there should be a diplomatic solution.
