Not de-facto.

Yes. Read the Korean Constitution. Section 5

Why does this matter anyways? All it means is that Shia followers and North Korea won't get along... thus won't really effect the status quo.

Maybe so, yet they follow it more closely then North Korea does. So, any other reason for as to why North Korea is freer then America or are you going to dodge the question?

Edit: And you being on the far end of the left doesn't make verybody else a rightist.

Yes it does. It makes them right-wing to me. Even if they're not right-wing, they're centre-left, which is pretty much the same thing.

Only from the perspective of the very far-left does the center-left approximate to right-wing.

So then, out of curiosity, do you have a specific example to back up these outrageous claims that America is less free? Ever see American news media criticize Trump? Ever see any Americans criticize Trump? The fact I can say "Trump is a moron" and not be shot or put in a labor camp pretty much rests the case.

So is there a way to blacklist Kennlind from the discussion or does freedom of speech mean he can drag the thread as far away from the topic as he wants; because I would really like to get back to discussing the Iranuan government's response.

If I had to take a shot at it maybe NK could not respond for one it's Iran it's on the other side of the world but they will probably try cracking down on Muslims a lot especially shia.

I think North Korea's actions are easy to predict, but what I'd like to know is what you think the Supreme Leader of Iran would do since one of his people, a fellow Muslim, is being detained (and later murdered) by a trade partner.

How fruitful is Iran's relationship with North Korea? That's about how much Iran (or anyone for that matter) would be willing to see past any transgressions.

North Korea gets along well with Iran; they have cut some deals. So, there should be a diplomatic solution.
