No opinion on the CNN aspect of the lawsuit but the SPLC is actually a great civil service organisation that defends those who have suffered physical abuse and targeted harassment at the hands of racists. They don't deserve this.

SPLC is highly partisan, and lost a lot of credibility over the years.

In my opinion, when they starting going after ex-Muslims, Muslim reformers, and targeting groups just for being Republican-leaning, they went off the deep end.

I don't know if the various lawsuits will be successful, but it is a think tank or rights group, on the way out.

With SPLC, it is bring out the popcorn and enjoy the show.
