It would probably depend on how far they really wanted to push waivers and how desperately they needed draftees.

You do realize what I am referring to has nothing to do with that and is something new?

I'm not saying they mean anything, just that there is new information.

The only new information was that the FBI was in the process of investigating a U.S. subsidiary of Rosatom for racketeering and extortion while the uranium deal was ongoing. Otherwise it's the same old "Hillary Sold Uranium To The Russians" spiel that was probably raised from the dead to distract public attention from Mueller's investigation, or even revive a Lock Her Up fervor from the gullible.

The one thing I'd probbly want to do in the military, which is being some sort of fighter pilot, I'd probably fail solely because I have a bad eye.

So that's fun.

I would b unlikely to be drafted as a front-line soldier given I am a mechanical engineer, am too old, and have a medical issue that will prevent me from being drafted (flat feet).

Good. I am not really a fan of the concept of the draft, but if we're going to have it, it should be equal to both genders.

Nothing was gonna stop Trump voters from voting for him, if all the shit that was said during the campaign wasn't enough to see the insanity of voting for him, nothing would dissuade them.

And now some of those have buyer's remorse. All the Republicans retiring are probably doing it to get more guano into government just so the public gets exactly what some wanted even if they start complaining that's not what they meant voting for Donnie.

Interesting, the Republican candidate for governor in Virginia is now trying to paint the Democrat as allowing sex offenders to have guns.

I figured that...you know...The Republican candidate is the one that would end up voting for that?

I thought Democrats were taking all of our guns away.

I guess to be fair, their thing was making it easier for mentally unstable people to get guns. Different than actual criminals.

I don't know about their stance past the main stem of the argument. I know nothing of the main Democratic stance...

Thats unfortunate really. I was hoping that felons having their rights restored would be something both sides could support albeit for differing reasons.

And I would have thought MRAs would protest loudly in favor of allowing women to be drafted by the military, balance out stereotypical gender roles and whatnot.
