And, to be fair, the main reason Trump probably won was the historically low voter turnout.

Voter turnout was higher than in 2012.

I am surprised those places were high considering Trump won one of the states with less votes than Bush lost it...by like 5%.

Well, you heard what Trump said.

The elections were rigged... They were just rigged in his favor.

And us liberals didn't listen...

I guess Michigan just usually has even HIGHER turnout.

Interesting how Clinton got more votes than Obama in California, even from his FIRST term and voter turnout is STILL that low.

Honestly think getting rid of the electoral college would up voter turnout massively.

It would probably help to hold elections on non-workdays as well, since farmers don't need two days to reach the voting areas anymore.

That is also true. Either that, or make voting day a national holiday. Anything besides throwing it on a DAMN WORK DAY.

So how's Trump been doing with these hurricanes? I haven't heard of him doing anything remarkably horrible so far, which is odd.

He's done decent. But he's also acted very Trump like a few times. But it could have been a lot worse. He did side with Democrats over Republicans on a bill, so there's that.

I didn't say he didn't say anything stupid. He did once go "What a crowd" like he was at a rally when at a relief thing in Texas., and had to come BACK to do a proper meeting with actual survivors.

Also just kind of had weird comments, but they were mostly harmless.

He came off as a self-absorbed jackass in his first visit to Texas, however he seems to have gotten his act together after that after being told that not everything is about him.

Can we all agree that the above is far below the bar for critical thinking?

Somehow I don't think tweeting X-rated images will really hurt Cruz that much. He'll just blame an intern or those dirty antifas hacking his phone or something and it'll all be quietly forgotten.

As of now I do not know if it is a hack or not.

The fact that I actually don't know makes it better/worse?

A very interesting article on US-Mexico relations under Trump.

Honestly, I didn't even know he didn't send condolences to Mexico in the aftermath of the earthquake in Oaxaca. He's such a bad guy.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.
