Yeah, ok. Sick to death of the corruption, the lies, the spin, the absolute bullshit, and self-serving actions of the lot of them - Republican, Democrat, whatever - don't care. This current batch has me to the point of near spitting nails, so help me. Every day, we see some other absolute awfulness come out of DC, some stupid tweet, some idiotic statement, some goram ridiculous bill or measure proposed ... and god help me, its wearing me down. Just makes me tired reading it all now and then, you know? Like 'Look, didn't want this to begin with, and now - ye gods - its even worse than I'd feared, and I feel like I can't do a thing about it'.
Make any sense at all? Can't remember the last time I was quite this riled, save for being right pissed off about Clinton pressuring people to lie for him concerning his extracurricular activities in his office etc. (No, didn't care about the sex, cared about the pressure to lie to cover his ass.) And even that doesn't measure up to this current fiasco.
Not just me, is it?

All of them have at least some form of healthcare that is free, at point of access, to any citizen in their country.
Indeed, but guess what else? They're all overwhelmingly White nations, which America isn't anymore; you pass UHC today, and you're not going to be able to fund it going forward.

I still cannot fathom how people believed this. Good lord, folks - he's been a damn dirty businessman for as long as I can remember, and I have never liked him based on that fact. He's always been a big-talking hot shot so and so who's only interested in himself.
That said, campaign promises ... when are people going to learn, ffs? All the politicians pull this crap. Which is why we need to vote them all out, and stop voting in more of the same. High time we started representing ourselves - regular folks, with a healthy dose of common sense. And no big business special interest etc groups owning our votes.
Grr, argh. >_<

However, even I don't see how the American situation can get any better without either a coup or a revolt. The constitution has gridlocked itself into a two-party system. A system that is never going to change for the better by itself. The US constitution has reached a dead end in my opinion. Even if the next elected president is a democrat, you will still have the bullshit lack of bipartisan effort, fuelled by a political system more aimed at scoring points with their own base than actually making the country a better place.
The US needs a parliamentary democracy. And I see no other way to achieve that than through some action of the masses, whether or not they storm the stairs of Congress.

Ah-Ha! So im not alone here with my ever growing desire to just call for a mass right to storm Washington and overthrow our corrupt leaders. Scott Pruitt, Ajit Pai, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell would be on my hit list.
