Deal. I've no idea what you mean by "a philosophy", but I'll assume it's supposed to be "a philosophical claim", for which I pick as my claim "PL is consistent", and offer as evidence the standard proof thereof.

Steffan wrote:Trump headed to Alabama for Strange in Senate slugfest

President Donald Trump announced Saturday night that he will head to Alabama next weekend to support Republican Sen. Luther Strange in his Senate primary runoff against former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore.

"I will be in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday night to support Luther Strange for Senate," Trump tweeted. "'Big Luther' is a great guy who gets things done!"
Trump's visit could give Strange, who is backed by the GOP establishment, a boost in his bid to hold onto his seat just days before the runoff election, which will be held September 26. It also pits Trump's endorsement power against that of his former White House chief strategist, Steve Bannon, who has aggressively backed Republican Moore since getting ousted from the White House last month.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/16/politics/ ... index.html

Nice to see Trump and Bannon are still in sync. :lol2:
I feel bad for the people of Alabama; a choice between candidates that ultimately boils down to whoever is the biggest Trump toadie.

I can't say I agree 100% here. Luther Strange may be a Trump toadie chosen by the the now deposed Luv Guv Bentley, but he hasn't been thrown out of his previous job twice for ignoring the Supreme Court. Much as I disagree with the Republican platform, Strange doesn't represent the virulent Christianity that Moore seems to be trying to impose on society. Moore is the kinda candidate who would probably be all too happy to introduce biblical law as the law of the land. Personally I just want a senator who won't embarrass Alabama for once.

I just hope Strange doesn't turn into the other AL Senator, Shelby.

Have you been living in a cave for the last 2 years? Yes, Trump absolutely desperately craves validation and praise and affirmation of his ego, and will take it wherever he can find it.

I mean, this is the man who managed to screw up the optics on condemning Nazis because the Nazis say nice things about him and he's terrified that if he's too harsh on them they'll stop telling him what a brave and strong and handsome boy he is.

If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Fft, I'm not the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED FUCKING STATES. When Trump wins the election and STILL has to keep bringing up Clinton as a boogiewoman to stroke his feefees it shows his fucking insecurities. The pathetic levels on Johnson running the Daisy ad or H.W. Bush running the Willy Horton ad on a regular basis during their Presidencies.

"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Missed the point. Trump's obsession with Clinton would be like Johnson playing the Daisy ad regularly during his Presidency. Especially while Vietnam was getting triggered.
