List of evacuations in SW Florida (Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties)
List of evacuations in Greater Miami area (Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties)
There are more evacuations in Palm Beach, Martin and Indian River counties, mostly of the intercoastal areas.

Apparently the damn thing is still supposed to have 75-110 MPH winds when it hits mid Georgia

Make no mistake, this will be worse than Andrew.

Of note, Florida is better prepared than it was when Andrew hit. They spent a lot of time (and money) creating very efficient water drainage and control systems in the event of hurricanes.
I mean, let's not kid ourselves, this will test their preparations possibly beyond their limit, but they won't be caught with their pants utterly around their ankles like Andrew.

A few things to note for scale: those trashed boats half way through were each set into 5 concrete wells specifically designed to survive storms like this and tied down with everything modern technology can provide before the storm: note how about half of them managed to survive. Shifting *any* of them is pretty scary. Unsurprisingly, the numpties who neither hauled their boats out nor headed for the mangroves got annihilated (shown at the end).

Also is the "Caibarien" word (the 255 MI E of Caibarien Cuba thing on the far right) misspelled for "Caribbean"?
