It seems the next powerful hurricane is on the way to the United States, this time to the east coast. It formed yesterday, and today it reached Category 3. It's on the way from Mid-Atlantic to the North-west. So citizens of the U.S. East Coast, be warned!

Here in London, I am kind of interested in how this will turn out, because I have a perception of Trump being callous to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, and if Irma causes similar devastation then the domestic problems in the US may get so bad that the symbolic and verbal tensions with North Korea may have to take a back seat until either Trump leaves or the outrage subsides with time.

No. Its going to pass to the NE of PR. Chances are unless it enters the Gulf of Mexico it will got up the US East Coast.

The problems in the US are the trees except the Palm trees in Florida. Palm trees have adapted to Hurricanes/Typhoons and bend with the wind. The fronds (leaves) are built to withstand the wind.
