Pretty sure the only ones needing protection were the PROTESTERS from the police.

1.He gave an apology on the racial slur thing, saying that he was rather mad at himself for that because he hates that kind of behavior in online games himself, and he hated how he took part in it.
2.Shitty jokes are shitty jokes. The joke was to see how far people on Fivver would go for $5. And he was understandably horribly shocked when it actually happened, which you can see from his face pretty clearly.
3.He also made a video after Charlottesville pretty much saying he was done with those shitty jokes because he does not want to be associated with those people at all after that.
So, no, it doesn't mean white supremacist behavior.

'In the rest of Spain' is the problem though. Playing tough guy isn't going to win the Catalonians back.Tananat wrote:Why? He's in the right, legally speaking.
I think it's well past the point where being legally in the right could settle the issue.

Indeed.
"I would like it if all Jews were gassed"
"Omg - you nazi"
"Oh, typical. Call someone you disagree with a nazi. Pathetic"
That really about sums it up...

Except that's not what's happening.

It's treason, then.

On the first one I was joking. On the second I admitted that the police messed up big time. They shouldn't have lost control the way they did.
However it seems that when I point out that fact that the police messed up I still get called a fascist because I don't believe that Catalonia gets to leave. So it's literally a no win situation for me. I'm literally being called fascist because I don't agree with you

"Those who reached my boundary, their seed is not; their hearts and their souls are finished forever and ever. As for those who had assembled before them on the sea, the full flame was their front before the harbour mouths, and a wall of metal upon the shore surrounded them. They were dragged, overturned, and laid low upon the beach; slain and made heaps from stern to bow of their galleys, while all their things were cast upon the water." - Ramesses III., Battle of the Delta

Yeah, I thought that was just a tad bit warped.
Well, technically, police officers can be in dereliction of their duty if they don't back up other officers.
Normally.
In this case, Rajoy is just dissatisfied with the tiny bit of backbone the Mossos showed during the referendum, and wants their leader to grovel harder or get burnt at the stake so as to stamp out any sparks of independent thought in the local civil service.

Declaration of independence, right to the Rajoy's face. And see what happens.
I say he has no balls to send tanks after all, as it seems with all that apologizing today.
The Castilians were always extremely bad in keeping their conquests.

I'm waiting for the photos with Catalan police stepping in between Catalans and the Guardia Civil.

They declared independence 7 times now.
