James Alex Fields of Ohio, I'm sure the phenomenon I described above will similarly be quickly used to detail everything about him.

The march was legal but the violence and car attack were not.

I don't believe so, but they weren't Antifa - it seems like they were a loose confederation of BLM, locals, and other interested parties.

from what I can see it looks like this

"unite the right" do the right and legal thing to set up their march, they conduct it.

local parcitipants and bystanders show up

BLM/Socialist Groups show up and confront "unite the right"

tensions rise and this event occurs.

which sounds right considering what we have seen for awhile now and during the election. I mean, did we forget about the crowds trying to destroy and break into Trump rallys?

Just extend that for longer. And play your policies to the north enough to keep winning elections.

Ah yes, oh god. How could I forget that you have such pathetic system of law over there... Well, time you got yourself a normal system of law, it would save you a lot of this nonsense.

I must wonder: what sort of system of law do you consider "normal" that would make you consider preventing the government from choosing an official religion, restricting practice of religion (outside of doing things like murder to practice the religion), and abridging various other freedoms, such as speech, press, free assembly, and freedom of petition, seem "pathetic"?
I'm baffled, honestly; all I can figure is that it's must be at least a little authoritarian.

Still, the Internet is the accelerated spread and connection of ideas, look what book publishing did to Europe for a few hundred years.

I'll also note, this kind of thing is one of the reasons it's taking off a bit. The alt-right is doing hero-worship stuff through memes and egging eachother on, like based stick man and such.

Example:
https://www.wired.com/2017/04/meme-army-now-militia/

We've also seen a rise in the number of KKK members, a rise in the number of assaults on minorities, etc.

The alt-right is best understood as a cultural "Arts" phenomanae/movement that morphed into a political one.

I think that unless conditions improve in the economy for the 99%, or the left starts focusing more on class rhetoric or alters its means of dealing with race/gender, we might see the continued rise of the far-right, at least in the anglosphere.

Recently, a poll showing that a majority of republicans are fine with the suspension of democracy came out.
It's somewhat sobering.

I see no way out of it, action creates reaction and it will all intensify on both sides in one way or another. The vast increase in information sources means it cannot be shut down, or no unifying message can be held against it.

Bringing facts to a culture war is like bringing a knife to a gunfight.

to the bolded, yes definatley.

Antifa and groups like them(to an extent the democrat campaign as well) have created an enviroment where white people are subject to intense scrutiny and called "racist" or "xenophobe" for silly shit. Not to mention antifa thinks anyone not like them is basically hitler.

Naturally it will drive people to the other extreme, white supremacy.

Adam Smith was not as you seem to think. He said that regulation in favor of the worker was "always justified" if I remember correctly.

True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread.
