Yet they are when ignoring the basic fact the homeless are one of the most underprivileged, and ignored groups in the states. No one benefits from having spikes put on benches to stop people from sleeping on them or having people fined, and in some cases arrested for trying to organize feeding the homeless.

Where is the "fragility" in being angry when an entire group of people are demonized based upon their skin, they're stepped-on and branded as evil by much of academia, and everything is said to be their fault? This didn't fly with black people or with Jews, why should it fly with white people?
