Party loyalty is the only thing that's keeping Trump in power. If he jumps ship on the republicans, which he might do, he'll be gone pretty damn quickly.

I remember someone posted "rumors" of him going independent, but I've literally seen no more on that other then some random Twitter thing, so I don't really have any reason to trust it.

But it is also Trump we're talking about.

Edit: Think about this. If Trump did that, we'd have our first independent President in history...(I think?)

Signed lots of executive orders, but no real major legislation. Nothing he can take to those simpleton rallies and boast about. No wall, no healthcare, no pics of Hillary in prison orange. And to top it all off, he's taking a 2+ week vacation...even after he criticized Obama for taking less time off.

He sounds seriously incoherent. You can tell he doesn't bother writing any prepared remarks or notes. He just rambles...it's kinda funny though.

My favorite argument recently, FROM the guy who praised Mueller for being a good guy for the investigation (New Gingrich), is that Mueller can't be partial because the Grand Jury is in a place Trump lost overwhelmingly

And the only real accomplishment was cheating Obama out of a Supreme Court nomination, but apparently that alone is good enough for right-wingers to keep cheering Trump on. Plus they don't seem to notice or care how pathetic it is that with Mueller turning up the heat on the Russia probe he has to keep bawling about how Hillary Clinton needs to be investigated and locked up. Like I've said repeatedly she's become the real life Emmanuel Goldstein for a right wing Two Minutes Hate. Just invoke her name when you need to find a scapegoat for your own clusterfucks. Thanks Obama was a genuine complement in comparison.

They're all realizing that Mueller ain't fucking around. That makes them nervous.

But it really just shows how desperate and sad they are. They have no accomplishments or feats, so they need a villain instead. Nobody outside of Trump's simple supporters or FOX News viewers give a shit about Hillary or her FUCKING emails anymore.

George Washington wasn't part of a party, so I think he would be the first (maybe only) independent president.

The idea that the current President of USA colluding with Russians to helped his nomination would obviously turned the so-called "Anti-Russia" slogan that used to be part of US's life.
