I'm pretty sure that is not the definition from what I heard from others.

Eh, it's not entirely wrong. My understanding is that trickle down works when the wealthy (the Trumps, the Gates, the Musks) have their taxes cut, the money will trickle down.

If only the party had some sort of publicly available document where they laid out their goals and what they stood for.

Deregulating small businesses I can see making sense, deregulating corporate-level America just seems like a major no-no.

Once you take away all that corporate welfare it'll make perfect sense.

Same could be said for Republicans, tbqh.

It's what you get with a two party state.

Probably because they're an opposition party in not-campaign mode?

What did Republicans stand for in 09, again?

Nothing Obama did.
I suppose this means that Democrats currently stand for nothing Trump does.

They both stand for political oligarchy.

Shocking that a political class created by silly American voters would want to act in self-preservation.

Exactly, when parties become exclusively opposition, they really can't be anything than anti-party in power.

This is why I'm tired of complaints at Democrats lack of messaging or ideals.

I think he already has an official slogan:
Keep America Great!
Eh, doesn't have the same ring, does it? :?

That's the tagline for the third Purge movie.

Actually, yeah, that does sound better.

Keep American Great implies that America is great with him at the helm to begin with.

In 6 months, I haven't seen much of MAGA around, and a whole lot of fail.

It's an important element of it, as can be seen with Kansas. Without that growth replacing the taxes, the entire idea falls apart.

Nothing. But forcing them to stay here can and will lead to layoffs, shutdowns, bankruptcies and ultimately, automation. Instead of saving doomed jobs, we should focus on creating new jobs for the people at risk.

Getting nationalized. And/or political coercion through subtler means. It really doesn't fuck anyone over, though, if they do. It just seems like that because humans are so well-fit to being one-trick ponies our whole lives.

They've come out in favor of co-ops, restructuring how mergers relate to gubment, and Booker recently tried to push for legal weed nationally.

They're only not doing things if you don't look beneath the surface.
