There are things like military, that I wouldn't want Robots fighting in. Like if this Afghanistan war goes on for year and years, and we start seeing robotic soldiers... I'm fine with automation used in the manufacturing on military hardware, but aside from that, leave it to humans.

The problem is, once AI becomes mainstream, you won't be the one deciding what people do with them. The average citizen will have to deal with AI's owned by the government and by private companies taking jobs. You know what happened when the assembly line was invented? People working in the home to make products by hand became almost non-existent, and none of those people had any say in what happened to them and their jobs. That's the way the economy works. So be careful what you wish for.

It takes real "talent" to get under the skin of a Marine general. Props to Trump for that

Self-driving cars are right around the corner, you know. Earliest predictions pin the first commercially viable self-driving car at around 2020. It's safe to assume for the first few years, especially for mass transit, there will be an emergency driver required in case things go terribly wrong.

On most heavy rail transit system all the engineer does is open and make announcements. Still self-driving cars aren't going to be extremely popular for at least another two decades.

I'm unaffected by any mind altering substance. Automated taxis are already on the road in several cities. They don't have to be perfect, just better than humans. They are already most of the way to being better than humans. Personal travel won't switch to automated vehicles just yet, but shipping companies are going to buy them so they don't have to deal with all the laws restricting truckers.
Please, call me Phil.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

"In other news, the Democrats and the Republicans are now fighting over codenames for their politicians. Apparently we have reports of Representative Barbara Boxer arguing that "Cookie Dough" as a codename is inherently sexist and a step backward in Western Civilization. In the meantime, Senator Rubio has been demanding that his codename be "Tupac Lives", though he has reportedly been told repeatedly that such a name will probably be considered cultural appropriation and that it will not make him "hip with the kids", because the point of a codename is to not know who the person i-oh, what's this?"

*Puts hand on ear-mic.*

"...What's that? Someone outside the studio proclaiming that they love Donald Trump? Very much? *Looks to screen.* Why here at MSNBC, we seek to show tolerant and honest news, even though we're not quite sure as of late which news we have posted is stuff the staff made-up or actual news. We have yet to tell the interns backstage that they do not have the right to make news-stories. Only Warren Buffett and Ted Turner get to make the news around here. Anyway, all of that aside..."

*Into ear-mic.*

"...take them to the dungeon, Bob. Anyway, we hope that Trump-supporters who watch this channel will learn to be more tolerant and understanding, after spending several hundred hours in the basement with our collection of statues of Hillary Clinton. Including the famous 'Hillary Mouse', which features Ms. Clinton dressed as Minnie Mou-what's that Bob? We weren't supposed to tell the viewers that? Well, good thing I have tenure. Anyway, here's the weather with Jim."

Today’s Impeach-O-Meter: A Robust 25 Percent of Americans Believe the Current President Is “Presidential”

The Impeach-O-Meter is a wildly subjective and speculative daily estimate of the likelihood that Donald Trump leaves office before his term ends, whether by being impeached (and convicted) or by resigning under threat of same.

Trump is unpopular with youth, democrats (of course), independents, and even fox news viewers. Republicans better start prepping Pence!

His current Gallup daily approval numbers are equal to the personal low he hit on the 13th of August, with 34% approval and 61% disapproval.
