Classy.

Idiot.

If a Republican Senator posted it for Obama it would have been defended as Freeze Peach.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

No, it wouldn't.

The Secret Service takes public threats to the President very seriously. Someone already tried to assassinate Trump.

I think it's part a bunker siege mentality of being utterly unable to admit any criticism even when the facts are blatant, and part having to be totally loyal to Trump's worldview otherwise you're out of favour - and I think a lot of the resignations and grumblings come from the realisation by many people that the Trump way is the only way and there's no other opinion that counts.

I recall a line from some report that people are telling him to stop talking about Charlottesville but Trump would prefer being called a racist over admitting he might be wrong, on anything.

He's impulsive, incredibly sensitive to any slight on his character and unable to back down.

I really think it's a question of where the line is that he's simply removed - his own party is openly calling him out, business leaders are openly calling him out, the military is openly calling him out, it must be getting close.

To be blunt, I can't see anyone having the energy to keep up this level of bullshittery for four years, let alone one year. It's easy enough when you are only occasionally in the spot light and your actions have no real consequences. He has a massive load of responsibility on him now, however, and constant scrutiny. It doesn't help that he stirs the damn pot nearly every day. While the man is a massive narcissist, I think he stepped into a role he had not fucking clue what he was doing, and thought it would be much easier than it is.

In short, he'll break. If not this year, next year. And if he doesn't step down, he will just become a massive lame duck President who says shit but does nothing.

I suspect he will have to be pushed, he's incapable of resigning, he'll be pushed and he'll call it a coup and bad things will happen.

Remember his 2012 tweets..

Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.

More votes equals a loss...revolution!

This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!

Expect the same when push comes to shove.

I think the real damage from what he said on Wednesday was that it was so easy to just stick to a line and call Neo-Nazis an abomination - but he couldn't, his ego wouldn't let him, and I think that clear realisation is more damaging than what he said - he cannot be conciliatory if his ego is being challenged and I think many people, his own party, the military and business people saw that and want nothing to do with his cratering of a presidency anymore.

Let's be clear, even Steve fucking Bannon is looking for a way out.

It is weird how he picks up his thoughts from the Internet, I mean for 3-4 days on NSG the line that Lee is no worse than Washington was pushed in defence, or that both sides are equally to blame - come another attack and he's parroting the 'dip bullets in pigs blood' meme.. he has regressed directly into the agenda of the alt-right and picks up their talking points directly from the Internet.

The simple act of taking him off Twitter would do so much for him.. just someone take away his phone. He receives and amplifies through that medium, taking his phone would stop the flow of bullshit information into his head and the means of retransmitting it, without thought, to his base.

I mean, so little thought that he himself retweeted a tweet saying he was a fascist.

It's incredible really.
