Well yeah, work you want is only a possibility even for people with a masters in their chosen field and at least five years experience, everyone has to do the drudge work at first, I'm afraid.

That's true. And even then, it's not exactly likely. Having income is the main thing that matters. Get that, maybe I can treat myself to something every once in a while.

Feels like we're all fated to at least feeling similarly, regardless of our income levels, at least within the everyday.

EDIT: On the whole point about "treating yourself once in awhile" in that the hedonistic treadmill exists.

Having an extensive work history without a gap in employment looks good for potential employers for things you want to do I'd also keep in mind.

Here's my medical waste. Do something with it, thanks! It's pretty gross so 2.5X minimum.

Your best bet with no experience (unless things have changed radically, though i doubt it since my working teen years were in the build up to and glory days of the early recession, and we were grateful for them yadda yadda get off my lawn) would likely be a small store that you can impress the manager's with with a good personality when handing in your CV, or McDonald's. McDonald's is a really good option regardless, really.

True. I wanted to avoid retail, but a job's a job and money's money, so y'know.

Basically, anything fast food is a good option, both to earn money on minimal experience and also to give yourself a heart attack if you're in a really hectic shift.

Also: Crap skin. Yay! But McDonald's at least pays rather well and has benefits for loyalty.

I did bar promotion, myself. Pay was crap, got run over on more than one occasion, but I was vain enough to worry about my skin and it led to bartending and resultant staff discount on boooooze \o/

Some people have to work really hard in order to properly loathe themselves, whereas to others it comes effortlessly.

Sweet and sour deep fried chicken balls, half and half chips and fried rice, honey sauce chicken wings and prawn crackers will do the job.

You could also have said risotto. Still rice, but also very Italian.
