If I was defense in that case I would tear out the prosecutors guts and show them to him. That is absolutely and without question not how that works and if you tricked a judge into going along with it the decision would be reversed with nothing less than frightening speed.

That's not what you said. You said "for anyone else."

That said, even a lot of pro-lifers seem to believe in the "life of the mother" exception. The "health of the mother" exception is more contentious because of fear it could be misused, and that's pushing it as it is, but it hardly makes it a philosophy pro-lifers are unfamiliar with.

I would say that forcing people to risk their lives shouldn't be out of the question, though. If something like WW2 happened again, it'd be a choice between having to be conscripted by our own government and having to be enslaved by the invaders. Pretty clear cut.

No, they shouldn't - duty to rescue laws are silly and presume some level of inherent duty of care towards a stranger as a justification of the law, a proposition which is ludicrous on its face.
