What is your political affiliation?

I'm interested in the political affiliations of the players of NationStates. I would of added more choices or and "Other" choice, but you only alloed to add ten possibilities to the poll, so if you affiliate with something else, pick the closest ideology and reply with what you actually believe.

I am an Anarcho-Capitalist which means I believe that there "Is no government, like NO government." The market should be totally free, public services like roads, police, military etc. should be privatized. The only law should be natural law, you should be free to do whatever you want unless you hurt another person or their property, victimless crimes such as drug use should not be crimes at all. etc.

I'm not affiliated with any political party.

Well, I got some free drinks out of the youth wing of the Labour Party once.

I'm a Social Liberal. I had to pick neo-liberal because it's the closest to what I am.

I'm more of a left-libertarian, so none of the options above. Aka someone who believes in personal freedom and economic equality.

I'm not a libertarian in it's current, modern sense, however, if you were to 'classify' me as anything, I guess you could call me a Skeptical Libertarian.

All Political Affiliations do is make people fight and stifle ideas that could be good.

I don't really know, honestly. I'm open-minded and like elements of both left and right-wing politics, but there isn't really a specific ideology I subscribe to. I guess I'm too wishy-washy. If I had to choose between America's Democrats and Republicans, I'd go with the Republicans, but they both have major problems.

I don't know. I'm probably not going to make a very good adult.

I'm a social democrat, what some people would (inaccurately) call a "democratic socialist." I'm a member of the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. Economically, I support high taxes on the rich and government regulation of the economy. Socially, I am fairly libertarian except for things that concern the public health and safety, like guns and vaccinations, meaning I am not very libertarian on those issues.

EDIT: Also a green.

I identify as a green and as a left-leaning centrist. I am a registered Democrat and voted for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 US Presidential election. Out of the options listed, I agree most with social democracy, neo-liberalism, libertarianism, and paleoconservatism in that order.

"I don't like labels" *labels self centrist*

Actually tho, if you were to describe how I think a country would be run, it would be centrist. But i prefer people judge my ideas as ideas and not as one overarching ideology.

Eh. Not quite. National Socialism is a branch of Fascism. :P I'm no fascist, but I did research on the topic.

Out of the options listed, I'm closest to a Marxist-Leninist. Socialism requires a sound theory of implementation in order to work, and only states adhering to Marxism-Leninism have ever achieved this for any meaningful period of time.

Your right, but National Socialism is the mainstream from of Fascism, Hitler and friends where NatSoc.
Populist Nationalism is the closest to the Alt-Right if he is looking for that.

Somewhere between Neo-Conservatism and Populist Nationalism with a healthy dose of Environmentalism. :)

National Liberalism, I said Neo-Liberalism for the poll as that was the closest.

Left Libertarian. I'm not certain where exactly the vote would go. Strongly socially libertarian, believe in extensive liberties and personal determination. I don't generally see the idea of "Taxation is theft" a's is often said by my more right wing peers. In my opinion taxation is a perfectly legitimate part of the social contract, and so long as the tax money is used in a legitimate part of the social contract. For this reason I advocate social programs that meet wide spread needs, food, housing, medical care, roads, environmental, basic education, etc. However, I oppose social programs that aim to fill a niche need, or a want, such as abortion funding, tuition assistance for advanced education, religious institutions, limited scope public facilities, etc.

I was placed as a "libertarian socialist" on one of those political tests, but honestly I couldn't be bothered joining a party. I might join a college group just for the social aspect, though.
