I'd take the money because I'd simply be able to retire, true financial freedom in that I won't have to work. I invest $1 million of it in dividend stocks to get a small revenue stream that is sufficient to continuously live off of, say- $1,000 a week and the rest can simply be rationed out until I'm dead. $2 million alone can maintain a $30,000 a year lifestyle for 60 years. Provided you can do math and have discipline, it wouldn't run out anytime soon.

I was asking why you feel that God would be mad at you for the extinction of pandas, but not for the extinction of the mosquito, since both are of "his creation" as you say, therefore I asked you why one would have value over the other?

What the fuck, no. 3 million USD isn't a whole lot of money to offer for the extinction of the giant panda btw (I would've expected something like 3 billion). You can't put a reasonable price tag on an entire species, especially if they're cute, cuddly, endangered, protected, and generate a shitton of revenue for zoos and national parks.

Agree with the last poster- you could easily generate 3 million USD in revenue by keeping a small number of pandas in a privately owned nature reserve or zoo.
