They won't delete it unless you do something bad. But why do something really bad when you can just leave your nation to cease to exist?

How to self-delete your account in ten simple steps:

1. Open the text editor of your choice.
2. Faceplant into keyboard repeatedly. (Randomly mashing buttons also works.)
3. Go to your Settings page on Nationstates.
4. Check the email field. If there is anything in that field, delete it.
5. Make sure "No" is ticked next to "Log in automatically" to turn off auto-login.
6. Scroll down to "Change Password"
7. Copy the gibberish from your text editor and paste it into both the Change and Confirm fields.
8. Click "Update".
9. Close the text editor without saving.
10. Logout of Nationstates.

Congratulations! Your nation will self-delete from inactivity in 28 days and you won't be tempted to come back since you'll have locked yourself out of your nation.
