"mountain"
I suppose the Dutch would have *ahem* lower standards.

http://newsthump.com/2017/07/11/tories- ... -majority/

this article is wonderful, because it's on the same lines as what i posted earlier.

i'd also like to suggest a fun game of trying to go through the article and determining what is and what is not.
ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

I meant what I said. There are a lot of open conspiracies, and they're very important. Most conspiracies are open. Keeping secret conspiracies secret is very hard, which is why "conspiracy theory" has become synonymous with "lies".

Loyalists place banner implying Celtic player, Scott Sinclair, is a monkey

Stay classy, loyalists, stay classy. At least this way the world can see those who are participating in the bonfires for the scumbag racists that they are. For those who don't know, the Twelfth is tomorrow, when the Orange Order marches to commemorate William of Orange's victory over the Catholic king James II. This day has traditionally been full of violent confrontations and riots.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, Arlene Foster has defended the bonfires claiming they are part of "unionist culture". She also added that she wants Orange culture to be "Respected by all". Maybe if Orange culture wasn't full of bigoted racists and didn't add fuel to the fire with regards to tensions in the North it might be respected.

South Western Railway, which will replace South West Trains (which uses a similar livery to South West Airlines) in August, is in hot water over commuter choice of trains in Dorset and Somerset.

What can one expect from Northern Ireland? It is, after all, part of the island of Ireland. :^)

Too right. As a culture which is almost solely based on the hatred of others, particularly Catholics, Orangemen and Loyalists deserve zero respect. Their bonfires with pictures of Sinn Fein members and Irish tricolors always remind me of the fact that these bastards used to regularly burn catholics out of their homes. Some orange bands even openly support loyalist paramilitaries and sing songs mocking victims of the Irish Famine. I just recently read up some more on these parades and found out that one time, following loyalist killings of five catholic civilians in a betting shop, that marchers held up five fingers while passing the shop in order to mock the victims.

In a way I am almost glad that they included a smear on Scott Sinclair on their bonfire, because that is much harder for the outside world to ignore. Some might (wrongly) let them away with burning Irish and Catholic symbols because of some bullshit excuse about the IRA. But it is much harder for the world to ignore racism against a completely unconnected individual. The world needs to know how disgusting these Loyalists really are.

Been a busy night for firefighters in NI, including two attacks on some crews, one in Belfast and another in lisburn iirc but no one hurt. In some places they were not allowed to use hoses and water on the fires themselves and instead had to douse nearby buildings.

And thankfully the parade by ardoyne went off without incident (its usually one of the big violence ridden spots)

On an unrelated note, I'm very pleased Nicky Morgan beat Rees-Mogg to become Head of the Treasury select committee.

While Zac Goldsmith lost for Environment, and Lamb got Science and Technology. Other Results Here.

Theresa May's government "could come apart like a chocolate orange".

Top marks to the head of the NAO for conjuring up that image.
