If you see yourself as primarily a European, no. It would be flawed as a result of the democratic deficit, perhaps, but a fundamentally good idea.

If you see yourself primarily as a Brit, or one of the component nations, you may see them as bad, dragging you towards an ever-increasing and deepening union you don't particularly identify with, and pooling sovereignty with people who might as well be little green men. Alternatively, you might see them as a necessary evil and want to stay for financial and trade reasons.

I find it kind of hysterical that we agreed with france to pay for half the tunnel, negotiated the sovereignty rights on that basis, then suddenly forgot our wallet somewhere when they finished their half of the construction and left them with a tunnel to the middle of the channel that they clearly had to finish or it would represent a massive waste of time and money. No renegotiating the sovereignty of the tunnel tho.

I think even the most ardent libertarians would agree removing bits of children with knives for no discernible medical purpose should be illegal.

Many liberals (I don't know about libertarians) take freedom of religion very seriously, and remember if you say "freedom of religion ends as soon as any other rights are impacted", then 'freedom of religion' is meaningless and superfluous. I believe 'freedom of religion' is one of the ostensible values our modern society is meant to be based on too.

Freedom of religion does not include freedom to force your religion on others.

What do you mean? The UK has finally cast away from neoliberal Europe, like the late great Tony Benn always wanted. It has taken sovereignty back into its own hands in terms of the economy in terms of foreign policy. Now it can rebuild its shattered society with a popular mobilisation, nationalisations and solidarity with freedom loving people across the world.

Zero of those three things are going to happen. We haven't moved away from Europe so much as we've moved towards even-more-neoliberal America.

Porn is also being stigmatized as the source of bad ideas about sex because it's easier and cheaper for the government to pretend it's the cause rather than lack of comprehensive sex education.
