That's Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh, the hosts of the show. Their guests for the segment on Fathers Day were Ollwyn Moran, a child development specialist and Matt O'Connor, founder of Fathers4Justice.
Of course, O'Connor may not be invited back after throwing a strop about not sharing a green room with Moran and pulled his balls out.

The feminism induced gynocentric impulses here and lack of consideration and respect for men is not merely trivial, it is damaging.
Example: Prejudice against fathers is a major reason they don't take paid leave to look after children. Fatherlessness is a major source of societal dysfunction, it predicts crime, poverty, etc, and maybe continually pushing a narrative started by feminism in the 80s that fathers are superficial and not necessary isn't a positive.
Familial isolation is one reason for the suicide epidemic. The pay gap is down to, in part, their relentless gynocentrism in portraying sex crime and DV as male perpetrated issues leading to prejudice against men and viewing them as dangerous to children, in part due to their persistent devaluing of fathers, etc. When they up and blame patriarchy for it in defiance of history and its respect for fatherhood, they're either gaslighting you, or they're just not bothering to evaluate reality and are just asserting their dogma again despite its laughable inaccuracy.
On the same week as WaPo publishing an article advocating the hatred of men.
They're escalating pretty quickly, and we were already at the stage of due process violations. Do we really want the UK media to carry on allowing these kind of hateful discussions and framing them as normal and entrenching these views?

Seems like a simple rebuttal, if you cancel Father’s Day, do you do the same for Mother’s Day? If not, they’re hypocrites and their opinion is invalid.

"Every day is fathers day though." It's because of their ridiculous worldview and belief in pervasive and omnipresent male privilege, even when that's the exact opposite of the truth, as their worldview is not one arrived at by sincere evaluation of reality, but is arrived at because it conforms to their prejudices.
Challenge that statement and they'll pivot to the usual feminist gaslighting and abuse tactics and say you're denying women are oppressed and so on.

*shrug*
Pulling stunts to increase publicity is a sign of giving a shit, especially as it might land him in trouble.
That they're even framing the discussion about whether to get rid of fathers day is an aspect of normalization of misandry.
If a news programme decides to push a particular agenda and airs something like; "Should we gas the jews?" and makes it a topic of conversation, it doesn't much matter of they invite a Rabbi, especially in the context of the hosts putting forward arguments in favor of it.

He pulled a publicity stunt because he was mad he wasn't put in the same green room as Moran. Which the hosts immediately explained to him is standard practice. But hey, he had stuffed his jocks with pink woollen balls, it would have just been silly not to throw them on the table. That they're even framing the discussion about whether to get rid of fathers day is an aspect of normalization of misandry.

Garraway was supporting O'Connor. Singh said she felt uncomfortable on Father's Day because she grew up without a father. Not quite the attack on men it seems like when you pretend it was just two women talking about how fatherhood is evil.

I couldn't care less. I get to eat steak tomorrow and not feel guilty for the expenditure.

Have fun tomorrow, by the way.
I have mine rare. Dad has his medium-rare. Mum likes medium-well.
I am the only person in my family that can cook steaks for everyone and have them all come out at the same time and properly rested.

So the Home Secretary might increase funding for police? Nah, he's a Tory.
