You mean the same Arabs that tried to destroy Israel four fucking times and lost due to their own incompetence? And you know what destroyed "Arab unity"? Politics. The UAR didn't dissolve because :thejewsdidit:, it dissolved because the Syrians and Egyptians had a disagreement over who was running the circus and didn't like the fact that Nasser was taking all the limelight for whatever "victories" the Arabs had.

Hell at least Egypt managed a semblance of stability despite Nasser dying and Sadat being shot by his own soldiers. Syrian meanwhile had eight successful coups between 1948 and 1978. Why? Again, politics.

Saddam would have never joined with those plebs.

Saddam was more than happy to buy arms from the West to fight those dastardly Iranians.

You mean the ancient superpower that first failed to crush some smallish backwater city-states and tribes and some decades later was completely subdued by one of those tribes in record time?

The arabs/palestinians had several opportunities to accept a partition and to have their own state, but they refused.

Carla Del Ponte is quitting the UN Commission of Inquiry on Syria because nothing is being done, and I cannot personally blame her because the Security Council is clearly bogged down by fierce disagreements between USA/GBR/FRA and RUS/PRC on how to end the conflict.

The conflict isn't going to end until there's only one side left standing tbh, people need to accept that.

I count at least 4 sides: Kurds, SAA, Assyrians, pro-Ba'athist Arabs. All are willing to work to end the conflict. Anyways, Del Ponte's best work was her book about the organ theft in Kosovo. Perhaps she should write something similar about Syria, since describing the procedures, and showing how they could be improved seems to bring out the best in her.
Come, learn about Russian Culture! Bring Vodka and Ushanka. Interested in Slavic Culture? Fill this out.
Stonk Power! (North) Kosovo is (a de facto part of) Serbia and Crimea is (a de facto part of) Russia

The opposition is illegitimate. I'm sure you wouldn't want to legitimize Russian intervention in Eastern Ukraine.

Because they sent their country and countrymen to the shitter by betraying their interests for Western money. Ukraine is, by far, the most corrupt country in Europe.

Ukraine is, in terms of percentage of 1991 GDP, the poorest of the post-Soviet countries. It was estimated in 2011 that 10-15% of the state budget was pocketed by corrupt officials.
