Yet effectively, I think he's right. Not necessarily that the Trump presidency will end early, but that Trump has had very little success in getting anything done with his current methods, and he is unwilling to change anything about himself, or his methods.

Perhaps the GOP should have thought about this before electing someone so divisive.

I dunno about the Trump presidency being over. But I do agree that Trump will never change. He could've changed after the RNC, after winning the election, after his inauguration, after his first 100 days...and still nothing. He'll keep being how he is. Republicans better get used to it. :?

Technically, the Electoral College selects the president. The Electoral College votes are determined by the people of each state...most of the time.

If he's gonna keep using the same ineffective methods he has, then things will most likely continue not getting done.

Was it not members of the Republican party who got him elected though? They chose him in the primaries, they fought for him in the general election, and they ultimately voted and got him elected. Now they get to reap the fruit of those choices, whatever form that may take.

Honestly, we say this a lot already sadly, but the behavior of the White House the last few days feels like it is crumbling from the inside. This last week or 2 has been "I quit" or "You're fired or possibly fired" week and it just seems like it is falling apart from the seams. I also know we've said this a lot already, but this week is one of those especially freaking crazy weeks.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

Well, I am pretty sure Trump pissed off various people (Like Spicer) when he thought adding the comedy gold that is Scaramucci was a good idea.

Not gonna lie, Spicer surprised me. He seemed like he was deep enough in Trump's pocket that he'd do whatever Trump needed him to. I'm not sad to learn I was wrong.

Yeah, why not throw the prohibition of torture out. It's not like it's one of the two internationally recognised absolute human rights.

What, it is? Good.

Also, Trump apparently proposed enormous tax cuts, because the US has the highest tax burden in the world.
