Gonna be a lot harder to sell promises like that after four years in office achieving nothing on any of those fronts. I mean, what can Trump possibly do about abortion between now and 2020? Probably nothing.

I dunno, the GOP hasn't done much on abortion in a long time but they still keep getting votes for it.

i think they've stopped trying to get a national ban and have started legislating around it on the local level. The are several states where, while it's still legal, it's been made functionally impossible to get one.
