If anyone wants to see what the best goalkeeper in the world looks like when on top form, watch the highlights of the Arsenal - United match today.

He was breathtaking....

Take Italy and The Netherlands out and its amazing how poor the groups look, there’s simply not that many nations that have consistently good teams..

Man U owe him about 50 points over the last two seasons. Also, not that I support either but it’s a shame Pogba is out for the next match, it will be shut up shop for Mourinho regards tactics.

I don't think that it would be outrageous to expect Sheffield be in the promotion race this year. I don't think anyone thought it'd be United, though

Apparently the transfer speculation involving de Gea and Real Madrid is set to end soon after five or six successive transfer windows.

If Real Madrid want, they almost always get. I'm certainly not a fan... everything wrong with football imo, though I think in a few years, PSG will take over their role

Euro 2020, group stage host cities are apparently quite randomly drawn. Rome and Baku for group A, Amsterdam and Bucharest for group C, etc. At least London & Glasgow seems like a decent draw, to reduce travelling time. Unless you go by train :p

Is Baku even in the European part of Azerbaijan?

It seems like Azerbaijan pays for a lot of influence.

They are completely a part of Uefa so question is moot.

That's like saying that Fenerbahce shouldn't be allowed to play in UEFA competitions because they're in the Asian part of Turkey.

So close in the National League (Conference).

Wrexham are having a very good season, built entirely on a solid defensive platform which isn't exactly the most fun to watch. But we have one of the best coaches in Carl Darlington outside of the Premier, who runs the training for FAW Uefa A badges so hopefully we can continue this trend challenging for the top.

What is the "european part of azerbaijan" if some of it is European and some of it isn't?

I am Egyptian and beginner at NationStates, so of course I must find this thread to ask what you all footie fans think about my hero Mohamed Salah. So, do not-Egyptians appreciate his beautiful skill? I never believed I would see a countryman dominate like now in the best league.

I am a Liverpool fan, so yes, do very very very very very much appreciate Salah. He's been incredible. Just hope LFC can keep him on the team for many years to come.

I think the first Egyptian player I remember is Abdelghani, and mostly from his good World Cup ages ago, and Salah is far better than him.
