No they should suffer because their policies suck and they and only they should have to live with them. Im tired of the surplus blue states having to bail out the red states with horrendous social and economic policies.

And it's always amused me when people don't get their way and suddenly want to pack up and start a new country. As if that would be less work than working together to fix the old one.

Its actually less work because we have had a conservative supreme court for 45 years and so we can never progress when the majority of the time they strike down our laws in 5-4 decisions.

We would thrive economically
We would control 90% of the food.
We would have 75% of the ports and coastline
We would basically be a socially and economically liberal nation that would strive.
The old America would become bankrupt and inflate into oblivion
Their infrastructure would crumble from the lack of money and no tax policies
Their food prices would skyrocket when 90% of the food gone from their borders.
Their conservative ideals would turn them into a 3rd world nation within years.
Basically, if we got together and created this new liberal country and made deals with Canada to allow us to bring supplies through Canada so we would not have to pay the conservatives. We would end up with 1 ultimate situation whether it be years or decades the United States would eventually put away its broken ego and allow us to decide on what terms reunification would happen and reshape the constitution under our liberal views.
Who wants to see this happen I know I do!

How? Why should liberals have to suffer at the hands of horrendous policies that the conservatives pass at the national level and then bail out the conservatives states that do the same?
Its simply going back to the good old take responsibility for your actions.

We both know the constitutional nature of the law is only one factor in making a decision. Ideology probably plays a more significant role than anyone is comfortable with or wants to admit.
Also, succession is a stupid plan.

Why should conservatives have to suffer because liberals decided that they're "too good" for this union? And would they even suffer? A lot of the food is grown in the Midwest, to the point where Iowa is mostly farmland.
