They're usually this slow - for a long time now. I mean, the last one lasted over a month. 32 days give or take half a day to be more exact.

12523 divided by 32 is about 391 posts per day. About 15 pages per day. Assuming that there were an equal number of posts everyday - which is highly unlikely.

I mainly use it to vent about and/or resolve my myriad emotional issues and/or neuroses, much to the apparent disdain of some of my fellow posters. Although, as mentioned in the previous TET, I'm trying not to do that.

Venting - in modesty - isn't too bad of a thing, many of us have done it here but afaik none of us try to do it often. As for resolving your emotional issues, it just may be the case that none of us are qualified to help you and there are better places to go for that stuff.

Got back from the local coffee shop, where I had a nice afternoon with an iced mocha and finished reading The Color of Magic. Why have I taken this long to finally read Pratchett? I've been missing out on so much for so long and I didn't even know.

Recently been taking many internet tests. About two thirds of them think I have kids. And some think those fictional kids have kids of their own. Then the other third is like 'nah, ur a teenager'. I'm not sure whether these dozens of tests are all just really inaccurate or if I'm the dysfunctional one.

Unlike yesterday, which I spent crying, doing chores, and rethinking my ethical priorities, I had a nice, pleasant day today.

Yep. But I have to find it rather interesting that many different quizzes give more or less the same inaccurate answer. It's rather odd that they have such consistency.

Back in the day threads would often run their course with small talk which wasn't really spammy but it usually didn't add much to the discussion, so the mods decided to pull up a megathread to coalesce all the small talk (just tracked them starting the TET in October 24th 2011 when Dread Lady Nath was still a mod).
And before my time apparently there was an eternal thread from the year of 2003

I guess it's big talk now.
